Web Tester Job Description

Our growing company is hiring for a web tester. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient experience and talent.

Responsibilities for web tester

• Ability to identify critical quality risks and to communicate them effectively

• Contribute to the overall Test Strategy and Test Plan for the web portfolio

• Provide quality support for the project team, ensuring high quality releases

• Ability to drive a project from quality standpoint

• Participate and contribute within the Agile Scrum development process

• Participate on Story sizing sessions & all Sprint ceremonies

• Perform service test analysis and design

• Perform WCAG 2.0 Accessibility testing on various websites, some of which

use Siteimprove

• Automation development, scripting & execution on WEB, mobile applications

• Provides technical support and assistance to sales and marketing

Qualifications for web tester

• Collaborate to work toward common goal with different teams

• Must be proactive, flexible, and able to adapt QA process to the critical needs of the development team

•

Ability to work independently as part of a distributed team

• 3+ yrs experience with scripting languages

• Experience with devices (iPhone, iPad, android) preferred

• HTML5/Java/JavaScript/Angular / RestApi / NodeJs/GitHub/ Protractor
